Steve Angello UMF

Guess Who's Back?

Ay, it has been a while since I last posted, but i am gonna start throwing more new tracks at you....
Get Ready...

When We're Together (D.O.N.S. Remix)-Morjac & Fred Falke Feat. Sarah Tyler

D.O.N.S has continuously been throwing down fat tracks. I am not the biggest fan of the vocals on this song but the drop and melody are sooooo sick. Sorry its not full quality (only 170 kbps). I'll post it again when the 320 is released. Enjoy.

When I Became A Punk (Kurd Maverick Remix)-David Tort & DJ Ruff Feat. Daisy Villa

Sick house track right here. My dad is actually friends with DJ Ruff and i have actually seen him spin a couple of times. I remember hearing the original of this track a WHILE back. Anyways heres a brand new remix by Kurd Maverick.

We Are feat. Rudy (Original Mix)-Dirty South

NEW DIRTY SOUTH. I really like this track, this is my favorite of the day. Cool vocals on a dope progressive track. Great Song. DOWNLOAD.

For An Angel 09 (Inpetto Remix)-Paul Van Dyk

I am not gonna complain. House remix + Paul Van Dyk. This is my favorite remix I have heard of this track, gives it a whole new light in my eyes. Check it.

What Up Y'all (Prepare To Meet Thy Broom Remix)-Crookers

Fat Electro Remix of Crookers What up Y'all. Never Heard of Prepare To Meet Thy Broom, but it's different and pretty good. Have a listen.

This video cracks me up. My friend in LA recorded it, and I thought I would post it up for you all to enjoy and have a laugh.

EP APROVED

Who remembers "Aqua Light" - old hit from Leger back in the day. That song almost made you feel like you were underwater listening to it. Really cool unique style, I don't know how he came up with it. So back to 2009 with this new EP Sebastien Leger has just released, he's bringing it back! Listen to seaweed and you'll hear what I'm talking about; utilizing these really aquatic sounds in the background. Other than that, its a great progressive house track with a really dope chord, and solid percussion. Check it out, and don't forget to support beatport!

This track is sick!!! I'm really digging this new EP; I can only describe it as being "different" trying some breakthrough new things. "Snapshot" has kind of a tribal feel, but not really. It reminds me of some of Afrojack's productions. House music, but with a dark twist on it. I really like the chord he uses on this track, its very dismal and scary, but you can't not nod your head (say that 10x fast) Dope production, don't forget to support on beatport!

The third track of the EP, and my personal favorite! Wow I love this track, you know its a amazing production when you listen to it, and the title of the song comes to mind. This track is so melodic it just puts you in a trance (but it's not trance, long live house!). It's also very tribal, and I think he uses a xylophone in this track, never heard that before, but its TIGHT! Download this track you'll love it. Don't forget to support on beatport!

This track finally leaked in 320, and wow is it dope. Mark Knight & Funkagenda use the sample from that old hit "Good Times" (admit you hear that every time on new years) and make it a prog BOMB. These two both share very similar styles when it comes to producing, really killing the progressive game. They were almost bound to meet up and do some collabs, finally did, and here's one of them. They came out with I think a couple more tracks together, but they haven't leaked yet. I'll post those up when I come across them. Stay updated. I'd say buy this track, but its not out yet, regardless these two have countless hits, so support those on beatport!

This track also got hardcore leaked! It's not released yet, but someone leaked the full 320 version, and he's bound to release it on beatport any day. Thanks to shawn for sending me it this morning. This is going to be a Summer HIT, no doubt. I go crazy for anything by the Swedish House Mafia. Anyways, this track follows his new style (that Kim Fai stuff) of hard bass line, melodic chords, and hard bass percussion. I really like it, its super epic. This is definitely my favorite so DOWNLOAD IT. Don't forget to support Steve, and the rest of Swedish House Mafia on beatport! BUY "Leave The World Behind"

Let's Start Today Off RIGHT!!

Mmmmm... fresh house tracks on a dismal day.
(I'm changing the format in which I post: Artist/Mix/Track Name, I hope this is less confusing)

Ok... so hands down John Dahlback is one of the greatest producers out there currently. I hope we can all agree! And for those of you who don't know who ATFC is, he just came out with a track with Chris Lake (refer to previous posts) which was dope, and is just a great prog house producer. "Bon Bon" is a very good track, it's very melodic , still has that hard bass line, and just really does it for me. But I like all of Dahlback's production, so I may be a bit bias on this one. Don't forget to suport on beatport!

Marimbaaa!!!!! Haha. Cool name for a track, right? Chriss Ortega has done it again, he's always dropping those hits! If your new to the game, or just don't know too much about Chriss Ortega I would seriously recommend doing some research. This production sort of sways away from his main style (no vocals in this track), but most producers switch it up. Most track's getting released these days are either going with tribal, or using again, those very melodic chords. I personally love both styles, and especially when they are executed properly. Don't forget to support on beatport!

The original track "The Groove" is a CLASSIC, can't forget those dope vocals. It's one of those OG tracks by Chriss Ortega, which you should have researched :P. This mix is dope though, Dave Ramone killed it even though electro/house isn't my cup of tea. I'm sure most of you blogger's will enjoy it. Don't forget to support on beatport!

Sunday Chillin'

What's good bloggers. Man do I have some hits for you!

Wow, Afrojack's definitely stepped it up a notch. His career basically started off of Laidback Luke's forum, Luke took notice of his potential and it went from there (Luke is also currently pushing Bart B. More). So, basically my analysis of Afrojack's style is this: he's been taking a lot of all time hits and putting this almost dark spin on them but with a dirty house vibe. This track's dope and you should all check this out. Check him out on myspace Afrojack, and don't forget to support on beatport!

I hope you all know this sample - produced by Sergio Mendes, super cool and music history. Anyways, Hardwell is a dope producer and has done some great solo projects, and Rehab the same applies. They teamed up and started dropping hits. They made this track really progressive with a nice tribal feel. Really fits the sample, great track. Check out Hardwell on myspace and support them on beatport!

I've already posted one of their more recent productions, and I had to drop another. With their unique take on electro they're really trying to make it a genre that everyone can love. Signed with Fools Gold along with Nacho Lovers. This track is a definite hit! Check out their myspace Jokers of The Scene, and support them on beatport!

House ALL night

7 out of 10 times we listen to our house music at Night

Nice edit from Tristan Garner as usual.

Township Funk’. You all should know it, if you don’t you should seriously get out from underneath the rock you have been living under and get googling or some shit cause there is no hope for you. The version I have for you today has been funked up by none other than Diplo. Diplo manages to keep the same brilliant style as the original but gives it more depth? and did I mention its Diplo?

fans rejoice Crookers have finally remixed Proxy and I can say i don’t like it as much as the original, but I really have not liked any of the ‘Raven’ remixes because they all lack that intensity that you can’t get out of the original.
